Here are the clinics that we are aware of that provide supplemental screening (does not include all hospitals). There may be many more.  Note: Dense Breasts Canada is not affiliated with any of these clinics listed below.
We recommend that for screening ultrasound in Ontario that you get the requisition in your hands and book your own appointment, instead of having the GP send a referral.

  • Vancouver: X-ray 505. (Only for patients who book mammograms there). This is the only Vancouver spot.
  • Victoria: West Coast Medical Imaging & Victoria General Hospital. Prince George: University Hospital of Northern British Columbia.
  • Kamloops: Royal Inland Hospital, Cat D. Cat C with lifetime risk >20-25% (Use Tyrer-Cuzick risk calculator).
  • Nanaimo Regional General Hospital – IRM mammaire. Exclusivement réservé aux patientes classées dans la catégorie D
  • Shuswap Lake General Hospital if mammogram is done at Vernon or Salmon Arm, Category D.
  • Port Alberni: West Coast General Hospital.
